The Re-education of the Female by Dante Moore is a masochistic, sexist piece of work. If it were 1950, perhaps it would be understandable for this book to be published. But in today’s world, a place where women are supposed to be the equals of men, there is no place of such a piece of work.

First time author Dante Moore claims that he tells women what men are really thinking–in the most blunt and honest way possible. Moore, who has never been married, says the book will help women find “a man of quality.”

The cover of the book alone screams out the stereotyping of women in this book. Two women sit at desks in a classroom. One is dressed conservatively in jeans and a t-shirt, while the other wears a short black dress. Moore acts as the teacher.

While it may seem that Moore was attempting to “shock” women into realizing how to get a man, Moore actually firmly believes what he writes.

Quotes from The Re-education of the Female

“Here’s a little secret, ladies. Men never really ask for anything. They command. And believe me, what you won’t do, ten broads around the corner will.”

“The fatter you get, the more you decrease your potential single-man pool. Let me give you an example. When you go to the grocery store to shop, do you pick out the nastiest-looking, most rotten, smelliest fruit or meat you can find? Oh you don’t? Why not? It’s the same with men when they see baby-elephant-sized, out-of-shape women.”

About Dante Moore

Moore, 33, claims he’s never been in real love, and that’s why he’s never been married. He seems to also think he is God’s gift to women, ready to bestow his wisdom on us.The Washington Post had an interesting profile on Moore, who has a girlfriend named Khanequa Tuitt, according to the article. At first, she hated his book, but has come to accept Moore’s writings. Now she's started "trying to stay away from wearing frumpy, flannel stuff," even when she's cleaning.

Moore was taught by his mother to treat women at queens, but when he grew up he realized that his mother was wrong. He believes women’s duties include cooking, staying skinny, wearing sexy clothes around the house and obeying your man.

A Note From Dante Moore Himself

Moore commented on a recent blog post criticizing his book:

"The Re-Educator has entered this blog and graced the female population with his presence. Well, well, well. Look what I happen to come across today on wordpress. Women who disagree with the book before reading it, what a surprise. I’m reading so much sexual frustration from you women. Maybe your complete lack of understanding about men is a major reason why you’re probably single and alone. You better wake up before its to late."
